Cookie policy

Google Analytics sets the only analytics cookies on Energy Stack. They are not set unless you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

What the cookies do

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and visits. The information helps us understand how many people use the site and which pages are useful. It does not give us your name or email address.

When Google Analytics runs

Analytics storage starts off denied. Google Analytics only sets its cookies after you select “Accept analytics” or turn Analytics on in Cookie settings. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain disabled.

How your choice is saved

The consent manager saves your choice in your browser’s local storage. This is necessary so the site can remember your decision and avoid asking again on every page. It stores the choice you made, not information about your use of Energy Stack.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

Select in the footer of any page to change your decision. Turning Analytics off withdraws consent and stops further analytics cookies from being set. You can also remove existing cookies and saved choices through your browser settings.

See the privacy notice for the information collected by Google Analytics and how it is handled.
