Updates and corrections

Energy Stack is a reference site for solar, battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps, fixed air conditioning and the documents, rules and equipment around them. If a page is stale, unclear or wrong, this page gives you a simple way to send the detail that needs checking.

Tell us what needs changing

Useful reports point to a specific page, product, model, term or source. They can come from readers, installers, manufacturers, suppliers, charities, public bodies or anyone else who spots an issue with the reference material.

The form is for corrections, source updates, withdrawn products, changed schemes, broken links and missing context. It is not a quote request, product submission channel or support desk.

What helps us check a report

  • The page URL, product or topic the report relates to.
  • What appears to be wrong, missing, unclear or out of date.
  • An official page, datasheet, product notice, tariff page or installer document if you have one.
  • Any date, version, model number or location context that helps identify the issue.
  • A contact email only if you are happy to be contacted for clarification.

You can also email hello@energystack.uk with the same details.

Correction report

At least one of the first three fields is needed. Role and contact email are optional.

Do not include customer data, access credentials or confidential material. The report only needs enough detail for the issue to be identified and checked.

What happens after a report

Reports are checked against primary sources before the site is changed. A manufacturer or supplier page can be the right source for a product feature, compatibility list, tariff or withdrawal notice. Official government, regulator, standards-body or network-operator pages are used for scheme rules, legal requirements, connection processes and similar claims.

A report may lead to a page edit, a source note, a new editorial card or no public change if the evidence is incomplete, unclear or outside Energy Stack's scope. Contact details are used only if clarification would help.
