The T30 cabinet was designed for commercial and industrial storage, using a three-phase power-conversion system and modular battery capacity within the published cabinet range.

Cabinet and battery modules

Only nominal energy is specified for this family. That figure should not be labelled or read as usable energy.

The cabinet uses the documented M48112-S battery module. Its cycle statement was measured under a defined charge-rate and temperature condition, not as an unconditional service-life figure.

The main cabinet and battery module carry different ingress-protection codes. Those codes and the module’s operating limits make the specified installation environment and cabinet arrangement part of the system identity.

Transfer function and network connection

Storion-T30 includes online monitoring and a local interface. AlphaESS lists a static transfer switch module as an option. Adding it does not by itself define the loads that can remain supplied or the site’s changeover arrangement.

Historical type-test material covers a three-phase bidirectional storage inverter used in a pre-engineered battery system. A current connection cannot be established from the T30 family name or that historical report alone. The exact power-conversion-system code, protection settings and proposed connection need to match the evidence accepted by the DNO.

UK lifecycle and warranty

At 23 July 2026, AlphaESS UK’s commercial navigation featured StaX M29.9/50 and Storion-G3-H30/50 rather than Storion-T30. AlphaESS describes the G3 platform as next-generation. The older T30 page and specifications remain useful for installed systems.

The T30 product page separates product and performance warranty headlines. An installed cabinet follows the terms, commissioning record and operating conditions issued for that project.
