Pylontech
Pylontech makes low- and high-voltage LFP battery systems, rack-mounted modules and integrated residential storage equipment, with products and warranty documents that cover the UK.
Pylontech, the trading name used by Pylon Technologies Co., Ltd., manufactures lithium battery equipment for residential and larger storage systems. The company remains active and its current consumer warranty documents expressly include the United Kingdom. UKCA certificates are also retained in the manufacturer’s download system for products including US5000, UP5000, Force H2 and PowerCube H2.
Current and installed-system ranges
The live global product database showed ReefMagic, Force H3, US5000, Fidus Battery and Fidus Battery Plus as residential battery products on 23 July 2026. It separately listed Force H3X, which combines a battery, BMS, hybrid inverter and energy-management functions. ReefMagic was added to the database on the review date and covers high-voltage towers from 15 to 75 kWh. The website navigation also named UP5000, UF5000 and Pelio, although those names did not all have a complete current product record in the same database. UK new-supply status therefore needs checking by exact designation rather than inferred from a global entry or menu item.
US2000, US3000, US2000C, US3000C, US5000-B, H48050 and H48074 remain relevant because installed systems and current warranty or compatibility documents still name them. They are not presented as current models in Pylontech’s live product list. Force H1, Force H1 V2, Force H2 and Force H2 V2 are treated the same way: their manuals, certificates or current Force-series warranty remain available, while Force H3 occupies the current high-voltage battery page.
UF5000 needs a separate caution. Its manual remains in the current global download system and its name appears in the residential navigation, but the hosted UF5000 warranty defines a territory that expressly excludes the United Kingdom and European Union. Current UK supply and warranty cover were not established in this review.
Electrical architectures
The US and UP products are low-voltage rack-style batteries. Modules connect in parallel under model-specific quantity, cable, current and communications rules. A shared nominal-voltage class does not make every US, UP or Pelio model interchangeable. Pylontech’s UP5000 manual, for example, gives a specific mixing order for some US-series products, while the Pelio manual says not to parallel Pelio with US, UP or other Pylontech 48 V products.
Force and PowerCube products use high-voltage series strings. Their battery modules are not standalone 48 V or 96 V domestic batteries and must operate with the specified controller, module count and compatible inverter. Mixing a module or controller from another Pylontech family can change the voltage window and invalidate the documented configuration.
Documentation conflicts and warranty terms
Several live Pylontech sources disagree. The current Force H3 datasheet says IP65 while the hosted installation manual says IP55. The US5000 web table, attached datasheet and installation manual differ on some voltage, module-count, temperature and cycle-life fields. The model nameplate and supplied document revision identify which values apply.
Pylontech’s current European and UK warranty documents are family-specific. The US and Pelio documents start with seven years and describe free registration for extension to ten years, with different retained-capacity definitions. The current Force document gives ten years for battery-module performance. PowerCube terms start at seven years and describe registration for extension to ten. Purchase through an authorised reseller, compatible equipment, installation conditions, records and prompt claim notification are among the stated conditions.
A battery alone is not a generator for the DNO connection process. The connected inverter, its registered capacity, phase arrangement, any other generation and any export limitation determine whether G98, G99 or another route applies.
