Sigenergy

Sigenergy supplies SigenStor modular storage and related solar, backup and EV-charging equipment, with UK availability established only where current model-level evidence supports it.

Sigenergy supplies solar, battery, backup and EV-charging equipment managed through its mySigen platform in the UK. Its global document library also contains regional variants with different power ratings and electrical formats, so availability and specifications depend on the exact model code.

SigenStor

SigenStor is the modular storage system. A Sigen Energy Controller provides the solar-inverter, battery-converter and energy-management functions. Between one and six Sigen Battery modules sit below it and an optional Sigen EV DC Charging Module can sit above it. The current battery documents cover 5.0, 6.0, 8.0 and 10.0 module labels, with usable capacities of 5.2, 5.84, 7.8 and 8.76 kWh respectively.

The current controller library covers single-phase, three-phase and three-phase low-voltage schedules. These are not interchangeable. The exact controller model determines the grid connection, PV voltage, number of trackers, output and compatible battery arrangement. UK installations also need the exact model’s current ENA Connect Direct evidence and the local network-connection route. The former public Type Test Register closed on 16 April 2024.

Other home equipment

The Sigen Hybrid Inverter is a separate wall-mounted product. SP2 and TP2 versions can begin as PV inverters and use a SigenStor Battery Controller when storage is added. Sigen PV Max is the PV-only string-inverter family. SigenMicro 400, 500, 800 and 1000 provide module-level conversion for one or two panels. These global-family descriptions do not establish that every version is current in the UK.

Sigen Energy Gateway is a separate switching and distribution product used where a design includes backup circuits, whole-home switching or generator integration. Gateway Home, HomePro and HomeMax are separate labels with model-specific ratings and warranty schedules. A gateway does not create backup energy: the battery, controller, protected-load design, switching and earthing arrangement all have to support it.

The established Sigen EV AC Charger family covers 7, 11 and 22 kW variants. The optional SigenStor EV DC module is a different CCS2 product available in 12.5 and 25 kW versions. Vehicle-to-home or vehicle-to-grid operation should never be inferred from the connector alone. Sigenergy says support depends on the vehicle, applicable standards and announced support timeline.

Newer global products

On 25 June 2026 Sigenergy announced SigenStor Neo, Sigen EVAC Charger G2, SigenFlux and SigenMate as parts of a newer global home ecosystem. They are not treated here as alternative names for the established SigenStor, EV AC Charger or battery modules. At the 22 July 2026 review date, complete UK model schedules and warranty terms for those newly announced families had not been established.

Warranty boundary

The European SigenStor warranty available on 22 July 2026 gives ten years to the listed batteries and named SP and TP Energy Controllers, and three years to the EV DC module. It does not name TPLV controllers. Battery performance cover ends at the earlier of ten years at 60% retained usable energy or the model’s throughput limit, which runs from 18.20 to 30.66 MWh. Internet connectivity and firmware conditions apply, including reduced cover after extended cumulative disconnection under that document.

The separate European inverter warranty gives ten years to listed hybrid and PV inverters, 15 years to SigenMicro and five years to the named home gateways. The established EV AC warranty gives three years. These are manufacturer terms with model, installation-date, supply-channel and operating conditions, not a blanket warranty for every item carrying the Sigenergy name.
