Solar panel brand
Astronergy
Astronergy is CHINT Group's PV cell and module business. It has a UK office and a 2026 distribution agreement for ASTRO N7s 2.0 residential and commercial modules.
Astronergy is a PV cell and solar-module manufacturer within CHINT Group. The company dates its founding to 2006 and uses ASTRO for its module families. Its products cover residential roofs, commercial and industrial systems and large ground-mounted projects.
UK presence
Astronergy Solar UK Ltd is based at The St Botolph Building, 138 Houndsditch in London. UK support includes separate sales and claims contacts plus a global after-sales platform.
In May 2026 Astronergy announced a distribution agreement with Midsummer for ASTRO N7s 2.0 modules in the UK. Midsummer identified the initial products as 455 W and 460 W CHSM48RN(DG)(BLH)/F-BH modules for residential and commercial installations. The manufacturer’s N7s 3.0 generation was then unveiled in June, so the latest global product announcement and the products named in the UK distribution agreement are not the same document revision.
Module families
ASTRO N5 is an n-type TOPCon family with several large commercial and utility formats. Its CHSM78N(DG)/F-BH bifacial series spans 625 W to 650 W and measures 2,465 × 1,134 mm.
ASTRO N7 is another large-format family with original, 2.0 and 3.0 generations. The June 2026 N7 3.0 CHSM66RN(DG)/F-BH series spans 630 W to 650 W dual-glass modules in a 2382 by 1134 mm frame.
The lower-case s in N7s identifies the more compact distributed-generation family. The UK N7s 2.0 modules use a 1762 by 1134 mm frame. New N7s 3.0 documents include both that 48-cell format and a longer 54-cell format, so N7s is not one panel size.
Codes, warranties and MCS
Astronergy’s family and generation names do not always appear in the full product code. N7s 2.0 and N7s 3.0 documents can use the same CHSM48RN(DG)(BLH)/F-BH prefix. A dated datasheet and the wattage are therefore needed to identify the published electrical table.
The N5 CHSM78N(DG)/F-BH format has a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year power warranty. Under the March 2026 terms, the N7 format has 15-year product and 30-year power cover, while the N7s dual-glass format has 25-year product and 30-year power cover. The detailed warranty conditions apply to any claim.
Current MCS Product Directory entries exist for the exact codes and dimensions described on the model pages. They name Chint New Energy Technology Co., Ltd as manufacturer. The register entry must match the complete code, wattage and frame dimensions; the ASTRO family name alone is not a certified product identity.
