Solar inverter brand

SolaX Power

SolaX Power supplies solar inverters, battery systems, EV chargers and related home-energy equipment through a UK and Ireland operation.

SolaX Power makes grid-tied and storage inverters, batteries and the controls that connect them. It was founded in 2012 and has a UK and Ireland office in Atherstone, with separate telephone routes for service, installer technical support and end users.

X1 and X3 are system prefixes

The residential range uses X1 for single-phase products and X3 for three-phase products, but the prefix does not identify the job an inverter performs. X1-BOOST G4 is a grid-tied solar inverter with no battery connection. X1-Hybrid G4 combines solar and high-voltage battery conversion, while X1-FIT G4 is an AC-coupled storage inverter for adding batteries without a direct solar input.

The same distinction applies to X3 products. X3-HYBRID G4 is a three-phase hybrid family, while X3-FIT G4 is AC-coupled. Other current families cover lower-voltage batteries, higher residential power classes, commercial systems and all-in-one storage. The complete family, generation and power code identify the product; SolaX X1 or SolaX X3 do not.

Product generations also overlap. X1-AC remains in the live UK warranty schedule and its manual is available, while X1-FIT G4 is the current single-phase AC-coupled family. Current new-supply status for the older X1-AC is unconfirmed.

Triple Power batteries

Triple Power is an umbrella name used across several SolaX battery systems. The UK range includes high-voltage and low-voltage designs with different module sizes, battery-management units and inverter compatibility. Triple Power battery is not a complete model description.

The T-BAT H 5.8 family illustrates the generational issue. Its retained V1/V2 page covers systems up to 23.0 kWh, while the V3 schedule published in the current download library runs to 34.6 kWh and changes several environmental specifications. Earlier and current packs can look similar without sharing one specification table.

Monitoring, backup and warranty

Compatible products report through SolaXCloud. Monitoring is separate from the electrical controls that set export limits, battery operating modes and backup circuits. Those settings remain part of the installed-system record.

Hybrid-inverter pages publish an EPS rating and switching time. The rating belongs to the inverter output. It does not establish which circuits are connected, the external switching arrangement or whether the complete installation is intended to support the whole property.

X1-Hybrid G4, X3-Hybrid G4 and X1-Boost G4 have five years of standard cover. This increases to ten years where the inverter connects to SolaXCloud and successfully uploads generation data. X1-AC instead has five years of standard cover plus a conditional further five years of parts-only cover. The T-BAT-SYS-HV-5.8 battery is in a ten-year group. The applicable document, serial number, installation date and registration conditions determine the cover for an individual system.
