EO Charging

EO Charging is a UK-founded fleet-charging business whose supported hardware includes EO Genius 2 commercial chargers and EO Mini Pro 3 home chargers.

EO Charging is a UK-founded EV-infrastructure company focused on fleet and commercial charging. Its current website combines charging hardware with design, construction, EO Cloud fleet software and EO Hub energy management. The supported hardware library also retains EO Mini Pro 3 as its current connected home charger.

Current AC hardware

EO Genius 2 is the main current commercial AC charger. It is offered at up to 7.2 kW on single-phase supplies and 22 kW on three-phase supplies, with a universal Type 2 socket or tethered cable options. Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth are standard, while 4G, revenue-grade meter variants and solar measurement are options.

EO Mini Pro 3 uses the same 7.2 and 22 kW power classes in a compact home format. It can be socketed or use a fixed 5 m Type 2 cable. The single-phase UK version includes open-PEN conductor protection; that statement should not be applied automatically to every three-phase or regional version.

Government or catalogue data may expose separate codes such as EG201, EG203, EM301 and EM303, with suffixes for socket, tethered cable, PME, dynamic current limiting or mobile communications. Those are variants within Genius 2 or Mini Pro 3, not additional product families.

Software and site controls

Genius 2 is OCPP 1.6 compliant and can operate with EO Hub and EO Cloud. The Hub measures available site power and manages groups of chargers, while the cloud platform adds monitoring, access and fleet functions. A stand-alone charger, an OCPP-connected charger and a full EO-managed depot are therefore different configurations.

Solar charging is described as an option using an additional current-transformer clamp. Site load management also depends on the specified meter, Hub or backend arrangement. Neither function follows merely from installing an EO-branded wallbox.

Installed products and records

EO support retains earlier Mini, Mini Pro, Mini Pro 2, Genius and Hub products, with explicit end-of-life notices for some. Their apps, cloud dependencies and replacement policies differ from the current generation.

For any EO installation, keep the full model code, serial number, connector type, firmware, Hub or Cloud configuration and commissioning certificate. Warranty terms depend on the product, order and approved installation conditions, so a general website term should not be assigned to every unit.
