Viessmann

Viessmann Climate Solutions supplies heating, cooling and hot-water equipment in the UK. Its heat pumps use the Vitocal name and range from domestic air-to-water monoblocs to ground source and large commercial systems. The heating business was founded in 1917. Carrier completed its acquisition of Viessmann Climate Solutions on 2 January 2024, so the climate-solutions business is now part of Carrier rather than the separately continuing Viessmann Group.

UK heat-pump range

The UK Vitocal range covers air source, ground source and large heat pumps. Its principal domestic air source product is the Vitocal 150-A, an R290 monobloc range with a separate indoor hydraulic unit. Related versions include the cylinder-equipped Vitocal 151-A, the Vitocal 150-A Compact and the Vitocal 150-A Hybrid. The earlier Vitocal 100-A and 200-A also remain documented, although the 100-A is absent from the main air source product list.

The ground source range includes the fixed-output Vitocal 200-G and integrated-cylinder Vitocal 222-G. Vitocal 300-G is used for more than one product family: Viessmann has a domestic inverter range and a separate higher-output fixed-speed range under the same name. The Vitocal 350-G is the higher-flow-temperature ground source range.

Large-building products include the Vitocal 250-A PRO, Vitocal 200-A PRO, Vitocal 300-G PRO and Vitocal 350-G PRO. Output and system architecture vary substantially, so the exact type code is part of the system design and product record.

Controls and documents

Newer equipment can use Viessmann One Base and the ViCare app. Several earlier models use a Vitotronic controller with an optional Vitoconnect gateway. Compatibility is generation-specific, and models such as Vitocal 333-G belong to the older generation.

ViBooks is Viessmann’s document service. Product and control-unit serial numbers are the safest route to the correct operating, installation and service documents because one family name can cover multiple generations.

Warranty and support

At 23 July 2026, the listed Vitocal air source and ground source ranges had a two-year standard warranty. A paid seven-year extension was available for most named models, but not for Vitocal 100-A. Registration, annual servicing and the full terms apply. The schedule does not cover every PRO product or older family, so the warranty certificate and terms supplied for an individual installation take priority.

Viessmann provides UK customer service and technical support from Telford. Existing owners can also use its serial-number tools and ViBooks to identify documentation. These support routes remain relevant for models that are no longer prominent in the sales catalogue.
