Duracell Energy

Duracell Energy home-energy products in the UK are made under licence by Puredrive Energy. The current website footer identifies Puredrive Energy Limited as the manufacturer and warranty-support company and states that Duracell Batteries BV, Duracell U.S. Operations and their affiliates are not involved in designing, manufacturing, marketing or distributing these products. That distinction matters when identifying the responsible support route.

Current range

The current low-voltage range comprises Dura5 and Dura16 batteries with Dura-i G3 single-phase inverters. Dura5 HV and Dura-i HV form a separate high-voltage, three-phase architecture. Similar names do not establish electrical compatibility between the two systems.

DuraCharger is the current EV charger. Duracell 5+ and Duracell Energy Bank are legacy products rather than aliases for the present Dura5 range.

The complete family name matters. Dura-i alone does not identify the current single-phase inverter; that family is Dura-i G3. Home Ecosystem describes the wider product range rather than one item of hardware. Dura5 and Dura5 HV are also separate products, not operating modes of the same battery.

Warranty and older products

Current Dura batteries and inverters have ten-year warranties, while DuraCharger has a three-year warranty. Installer registration is required within two weeks, subject to the full terms.

Duracell 5+ and Duracell Energy Bank systems also remain in service but are absent from the current UK product range and are superseded. Their original product documents and support arrangements should not be replaced with assumptions based on the current Dura5 range.

The legacy name on an installed unit therefore remains important. A current Dura5 specification or warranty cannot be transferred to Duracell 5+ or Energy Bank solely because the products share the Duracell Energy brand.
