Worcester Bosch is the UK trading brand of Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd, supplying current Compress air-to-water heat-pump ranges and heating controls.
Worcester Bosch is the UK heating brand operated by Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd. Its domestic product range covers boilers, controls, air conditioning and air-to-water heat pumps, with UK customer support, servicing and accredited-installer routes.
Current Compress heat pumps
The current homeowner and professional directories list four heat-pump families. Compress 2000 AWF is a full-monobloc R32 range with single-phase models from 4 to 16 kW and three-phase models from 18 to 30 kW. Compress 3400i AWS is an R32 split range with 4, 6, 8 and 10 kW outdoor units.
Compress 5800i AW uses R290, or propane, in 4, 5 and 7 kW outdoor units. Its published system options include a wall-hung indoor unit, pre-plumbed cylinder arrangements and hybrid use with specified Worcester boilers. Compress 7001i AW is an established R410A range with 5, 7, 9 and 13 kW single-phase units and a 17 kW three-phase unit.
These families are not successive capacity bands of one product. They differ in refrigerant, topology, maximum water temperature, electrical supply, indoor equipment and installation constraints.
Compress and CS names
Public pages use names such as Compress 5800i AW. Technical sheets, nameplates and the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) Product Directory use corresponding forms such as CS5800iAW 5 ORE-S. A complete record may also name the indoor unit or cylinder paired with the outdoor unit.
The current MCS directory held exact records for all four listed families on 23 July 2026. The 5800i records distinguish outdoor-only and specified cylinder combinations. The 7001i records distinguish four single-phase capacities and one three-phase capacity. A family name by itself does not prove that a proposed indoor-and-outdoor combination matches the certified record.
Compress 7400i AW is a separate 5 and 7 kW R410A range. It was absent from the current product directories but appeared in a Worcester Bosch installer promotion published in May 2026, while its exact MCS records remained current. New-supply status is therefore treated as unconfirmed rather than assumed from either source alone.
Cylinders, controls and monitoring
Worcester Bosch announced on 11 August 2025 that it had ceased sales of its domestic cylinder range after its supplier entered liquidation. The affected list included CS5800i pre-plumbed cylinders, while existing installations remained supported under warranty. Current 5800i pages still show cylinder packages, so the family diagram does not establish which cylinder is currently available.
Controls also vary. The 5800i supports HomeCom Easy monitoring, while other families have their own system controllers and indoor modules. App support does not replace weather compensation, hydraulic design or commissioning settings.
Guarantee boundary
The current heat-pump terms state a minimum two-year manufacturer guarantee and say that duration may be longer depending on the model and installer accreditation. Professional pages describe conditional seven-year routes for some products. Annual servicing, correct installation and the other published terms apply, so the registered certificate is the reliable record of an installed system’s duration.
