Solar inverter brand

Growatt

Growatt supplies solar inverters, storage equipment, batteries and EV chargers, with a current UK service office and UK grid documents for selected products.

Growatt makes solar inverters, battery-storage equipment and EV chargers. The company says it was founded in 2011. Its contact directory lists a UK service office in Ilford, with a UK service email and telephone number.

Solar inverter families

Growatt’s worldwide residential catalogue starts with NEO microinverters and MIC single-phase string inverters. MIN is used for single-phase products and MOD for three-phase products, but neither prefix defines one function. Both appear on ordinary grid-tied solar equipment and on separate battery-ready variants.

MID, MAC and MAX cover larger three-phase commercial or utility equipment. Their full codes distinguish the published families, tracker layouts, electrical schedules and grid documents.

The suffix carries much of that information. Within the current ranges covered here, X and X2 usually identify grid-tied solar variants, XH and HU appear on battery-ready or hybrid products and XA identifies an AC-coupled MIN. These are family-specific patterns rather than a decoding rule for every Growatt product.

Storage and batteries

Growatt’s storage catalogue includes SPH and SPM hybrid platforms, SPA and MIN XA AC-coupled products and WIT commercial hybrid inverters.

Within the current all-in-one range, HUB identifies hybrid storage and AUB identifies an AC-coupled arrangement. Those suffixes describe different conversion paths even where the enclosure and power class look similar.

The battery range uses several separate architectures. APX is high voltage. ARK has LV, HV and XH arrangements. AXE is used for a residential low-voltage module and for separate commercial high-voltage systems. The current worldwide product centre also lists ALP and HOPE low-voltage batteries.

NEXA 2000, NOAH 2000 and AURA 5000 sit in a separate balcony-storage category.

Compatibility depends on the complete inverter and battery codes and their current system document. Sharing LFP chemistry or a family name does not make components interchangeable.

EV charging

THOR is the current EV charger name across Growatt’s AC and DC catalogue.

UK documents and warranty

Growatt publishes UKCA, G98 and G99 files for selected models. Evidence for one family member is not evidence for every suffix or rating, so the exact code must be checked against the applicable connection document. A family page or export-limit feature is not a substitute for that check.

The worldwide service terms link warranty cover to the country of sale, installation and after-sales service. They also allow the sales order to specify a different period. The applicable warranty therefore comes from the supplied unit’s exact terms and sales order.

On 23 July 2026, Growatt had an active worldwide catalogue and a listed UK support office. Current UK new supply remains model-specific.
