Heat-pump or fixed-AC brand
Samsung
Samsung supplies EHS air-to-water heat pumps in the UK, including monobloc, refrigerant-split and combined air-to-water and air-to-air systems.
Samsung uses Eco Heating System (EHS) as the family name for its air-to-water heat-pump equipment. The current UK site separates the range into Mono, Split and Time Division Multi (TDM) Plus architectures, then offers different indoor packages for hot water and hydraulic control.
Mono outdoor units
An EHS Mono unit contains its refrigerant circuit outdoors and connects to the heating system with water. The live UK range includes the R290 Mono in 5, 8, 12 and 16 kW capacity classes, the R32 Mono page in 5, 8 and 12 kW classes and the R32 Mono HT Quiet range in 8, 12 and 14 kW classes. Exact phase choices and operating limits vary by code.
The R290 page states leaving-water temperatures up to 75°C. Mono HT Quiet states up to 70°C, while the detailed 5 kW R32 Mono page gives a 15°C to 65°C heating-water range. These are separate product schedules and should not be merged into one EHS Mono figure.
Split and TDM Plus
EHS Split carries refrigerant between an outdoor unit and either a wall-mounted hydro unit or a ClimateHub. Samsung’s live pages include R32 low-ambient equipment and older R32 or R410A product pages, so the outdoor and indoor codes are needed to establish the refrigerant and installation instructions.
TDM Plus uses one outdoor system for air-to-water heating and domestic hot water alongside compatible air-to-air indoor units. Its controls allocate operation between the two functions. It can use a ClimateHub or a hydro unit with separate hot-water storage.
ClimateHub and product records
ClimateHub combines indoor hydraulic components, controls and a domestic-hot-water cylinder. Live UK pages show 200 and 260 litre forms, with newer S2 pages adding their own indoor codes and control options. The name does not identify the outdoor unit, refrigerant or heating capacity.
The MCS Product Directory contained current Samsung records on 23 July 2026 for R290 Mono, R32 Mono, Mono HT Quiet, Split and TDM Plus combinations. Search results also contained expired or superseded combinations. The complete outdoor code, paired control or indoor-unit code and live certification record identify a current combination.
Samsung’s UK heating page says annual servicing is needed to help keep the warranty valid. It does not state one universal duration for every EHS combination, so the issued warranty terms and registration record remain the system-specific evidence.
