Hypervolt
Hypervolt is a UK smart-EV-chargepoint company. Home 3 Pro is its current domestic generation, with Home 3.0 and Home 2.0 units in the installed base.
Hypervolt Limited is a UK company making smart EV chargepoints and the software used to control them. Its domestic products are tethered, single-phase AC chargers designed around app control, automatic load management and charging modes that can follow surplus solar generation.
Current and earlier generations
Home 3 Pro is Hypervolt’s current domestic generation at 22 July 2026. It is a 7.4 kW unit with a choice of tethered cable lengths, three enclosure colours and integrated open-PEN protection. Its enclosure is rated IP66 and IK10.
Home 3.0 is the preceding third-generation model. It shares the same nominal charging power and physical dimensions but has IP54 and IK08 ratings. Hypervolt continues to publish its technical information and app guidance.
HYPV-2.0-7 is the formal model number associated with the Home 2.0 generation. Hypervolt states that it could no longer sell Home 2 after December 2022 because of the incoming smart-chargepoint requirements. The company continues to maintain technical material and software support for installed units, while identifying Home 3 Pro as the current generation.
Energy measurements and controls
Home 3.0 and Home 3 Pro offer Boost, Eco and Super Eco modes. Eco combines measured solar surplus with grid electricity, while Super Eco is the solar-only mode. A current transformer on the incoming supply also provides the measurement used for automatic load management.
Both third-generation products can accept a second current transformer for additional monitoring of an AC-coupled home battery. Hypervolt says that second sensor is not used where the panels and battery share a hybrid inverter on the DC side. The distinction is about system architecture, not battery brand.
The current product uses the Hypervolt app over its connected services. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are documented for the third-generation units, with optional hardwired Ethernet included in the Home 3 Pro installation guidance.
Product records and warranty
The GOV.UK eligible chargepoint spreadsheet updated on 15 June 2026 lists Home 3 Pro, Home 3.0 and HYPV-2.0-7. Each is recorded at 7.4 kW AC with one socket and as eligible for both residential and commercial grants.
That list records model eligibility, not retail lifecycle. A grant claim also depends on the applicant, property, installer and installation meeting the current scheme rules.
Hypervolt’s current consumer terms state three years for goods unless another period is agreed. The Home 3 Pro product page presents a three-year standard warranty and a five-year extended option. An earlier installed unit remains governed by the warranty and registration documents issued for that purchase.
