Duracell Energy Bank is a legacy name used for all-in-one home battery systems before the current Puredrive-made Dura range. Energy Bank and Energy Bank 2 equipment can still appear in homes, but neither name appears in Duracell Energy’s current UK product navigation. The family is superseded.
Energy Bank 2 documentation
Energy Bank 2 was offered with 7.2, 9.6, 12 or 14.4 kWh storage capacity. It has a 5 kW nominal power rating, LFP cells, an IP55 enclosure and optional power-cut protection.
Social Energy integration formed part of the legacy system. It is separate from the current Duracell Energy platform.
Do not substitute current Dura documents
The current Duracell Energy range is manufactured and supported under licence by Puredrive Energy and uses Dura5, Dura16 and Dura-i names. Legacy Energy Bank systems and the current Dura families use separate hardware, software and warranty records.
The rating plate, serial numbers and original handover pack identify the exact generation, installer and any Social Energy hardware.
Power-cut operation was optional rather than standard.
