Fox ESS AIO-AC1 is a single-phase all-in-one battery cabinet built around an AC1 battery inverter. An official Fox ESS regional library retains its manual, but as of 23 July 2026 the current UK range lists newer all-in-one systems instead. Current UK new-product supply for this exact family is therefore unconfirmed.
AC-coupled cabinet and battery configurations
The official manual covers several AC1 power classes and three battery configurations. The complete system code and battery-module count identify the actual cabinet. The inverter, high-voltage modules and enclosure form a coordinated system rather than a generic battery that can be paired freely.
AIO-AC1 is AC-coupled. It has no direct solar input, even though it may be installed alongside solar PV. A separate solar inverter supplies the property’s AC system, while AIO-AC1 charges or discharges its battery on that same side of the installation. The similarly styled AIO-H1 is the hybrid version with solar inputs.
Cabinet weight, EPS and warranty
The rating label should provide the full inverter and system code. The weight in the table is the cabinet before battery modules, so the completed system is heavier and changes with module count.
The EPS figure is the cabinet’s published changeover time. It does not identify which property circuits were connected to backup on an installed system.
Fox ESS’s battery policy excludes inverter and charge-controller electronics inside all-in-one products. Those parts use the separate inverter policy, whose standard cover runs for 60 months from installation but no later than 65 months from manufacture. AIO is excluded from the FoxPro extension. The original invoice, commissioning record, serial numbers and warranty documents identify the cover for an installed system.
