Fox ESS EP11 is a high-voltage LFP battery. It uses the same fixed-pack idea as EP5 at roughly twice the energy per enclosure. EP11 remains in the current global catalogue, while the main UK residential range now presents EP6 and EP12. It remains compatible with current UK H3 Smart systems, but current UK new-product supply is unconfirmed.

EP11 nominal energy and parallel capacity

Depth of discharge is 90%, equivalent to about 9.32 kWh before other operating limits are allowed for. Up to four EP11 units can operate in parallel. Multiplying the individual nominal figure gives 41.44 kWh, while the family maximum is rounded to 41.6 kWh.

The nominal energy figure describes storage, not power. AC output depends on the compatible inverter rather than the battery capacity alone.

Battery-pack efficiency is not AC system efficiency. Inverter conversion, controls, cabling and standby demand introduce additional losses.

EP11 inverter pairing and warranty limits

Compatibility requires more than voltage. The exact Fox inverter and permitted parallel arrangement must support EP11.

Under the Fox ESS UK and Ireland policy in force on 23 July 2026, standard cover runs for 60 months from installation but no later than 65 months from manufacture. The extension depends on the required registration and FoxCloud connection. Performance cover is limited by time, retained energy and throughput.

The values in the specification are warranty conditions, not expected-life figures. The applicable policy revision and registration evidence should remain with the installation records.
