Fox ESS H3 Pro is a three-phase hybrid inverter for larger solar and high-voltage battery systems. Its current UK schedule excludes the 24.9 and 29.9 kW regional variants included in the global datasheet.
Separate H3 Pro and H3 Smart schedules
H3 Pro begins where the current H3 Smart range finishes. It is not simply a higher setting on the same inverter. The Pro family has its own current limits, model codes and documentation, so a design or replacement must use the exact rating label.
The three MPPT can accommodate different string groups, but the exact model’s schedule still governs how they may be divided. The headline power number does not show the voltage, operating-current or short-circuit-current limit at each input.
A battery sitting inside the published voltage range is not automatically compatible. Fox ESS’s current UK list covers EP5, EP6, EP11 and EP12, the EQ2900, EQ4300, EQ4800 and EQ5000 families and CQ7. Support still depends on the complete inverter and battery codes and their current firmware and system documentation.
The three-phase EPS feature does not define which loads the installed backup arrangement supplies.
