Fronius Wattpilot is an EV-charger family led in the UK by the fixed-cable Wattpilot Flex, with 11 and 22 kW Home and Pro versions.

Fronius Wattpilot is a family of AC EV chargers designed to work on its own or with Fronius solar monitoring and metering. The current UK product page focuses on Wattpilot Flex, a fixed-cable wall box available in 11 and 22 kW Home and Pro versions.
Charging versions
Wattpilot Flex has a fixed 6 m Type 2 cable. Both Home and Pro are offered at 11 or 22 kW, although the actual charging rate is limited by the building supply, circuit, vehicle and configured load controls. The Pro adds an integrated MID-compliant meter for recorded charging used in billing contexts.
Wattpilot Flex connects through WLAN or Ethernet LAN. RFID supports separate user profiles and the Solar.wattpilot app is used for commissioning, settings and charging data. Internet access is needed for remote use, tariff functions and software updates.
Solar charging and load control
For solar-optimised charging, Wattpilot can automatically change between single-phase and three-phase charging and work from 1.38 kW upward, subject to model and system conditions. Fronius states that extra components are required. A compatible inverter with a Fronius Smart Meter, or the supported third-party-inverter metering arrangement, supplies the power-flow information.
Dynamic load balancing also needs the specified meter or Fronius system components. These functions should not be inferred merely because a property has solar panels or another Fronius-branded device.
Earlier Wattpilot products and warranty
Fronius support also covers Wattpilot Home and Go, including 2.0 versions. They use the same Solar.wattpilot app but differ from Flex in cable arrangement, network interfaces and portability. The exact product label matters when checking the manual and enclosure rating.
The manufacturer FAQ says the Wattpilot warranty increased from two to three years for the change applying from 1 August 2024. The purchase date, product and applicable terms determine whether the longer period applies.
