Kensa Evo

Kensa Evo is a fixed-speed ground source heat-pump family for medium and larger homes. It has five nominal sizes: 7, 9, 13, 15 and 17 kW. Four are single-phase units; the 15 kW K150-S3H is three-phase.

Model schedule

At B0/W35, Kensa gives coefficients of performance of 4.48, 4.36, 4.14, 4.20 and 3.81 from the 7 kW through 17 kW models. The corresponding average-climate SCOP figures at 35°C are 4.72, 4.64, 4.40, 4.47 and 4.06.

Maximum flow temperature is not common across the range. Kensa publishes 64°C for the 7 kW model, 63°C for 9 and 13 kW, 62°C for 15 kW and 50°C for 17 kW. This makes the exact model relevant to cylinder and emitter design.

Equipment

All five units use R407C and a scroll compressor. The casing measures 1,145 mm high, 600 mm wide and 575 mm deep. Dry weight ranges from 153 to 170 kg.

Published sound-power figures, in model order, are 49.4, 56.1, 49.7, 49.2 and 56.2 dB(A). These are sound-power ratings, not sound pressure at a position in the room.

The heat pump does not contain a backup immersion heater. Domestic hot water requires a separate cylinder and any immersion arrangement forms part of that cylinder or system, not the Evo unit.

Connection and warranty

Kensa’s technical table marks the 7, 9, 13 and 15 kW models as ENA Connect & Notify approved and the 17 kW as not approved under that route. The DNO process still depends on the exact model and installation.

For units sold after 1 February 2026, Kensa describes one-year out-of-box and four-year registered standard warranty routes, plus a paid eight-year extension. Registration, purchase timing, installer eligibility and the full terms apply.
