LONGi Hi-MO 5 is a P-type monocrystalline solar-panel family that includes monofacial Hi-MO 5m and bifacial dual-glass variants in several module sizes.

Hi-MO 5 is a family of P-type monocrystalline modules from LONGi, not one panel. The Hi-MO 5m range includes the 54-cell-format LR5-54HPH series and the larger LR5-72HPH series. LONGi also uses the Hi-MO 5 name for a dual-glass bifacial line, so the complete model code is needed before applying any specification.

All three schedules use half-cut P-type PERC cells on LONGi’s M10 wafer format.

The temperature coefficient and nominal operating cell temperature are common across the two datasheets. Their degradation and warranty figures also match: the performance term allows a larger change in the first year followed by a linear annual reduction through year 25.

Variant boundaries

The LR5-72HBD (G2) schedule has a dual-glass construction and a 30-year performance warranty. The two monofacial Hi-MO 5m schedules have a 25-year performance term. Dimensions, bifaciality and warranty are therefore suffix-specific.

On 31 July 2026 the MCS Product Directory contained the following exact wattage boundaries:

  • LR5-54HPH-395M through LR5-54HPH-435M in 5 W steps
  • LR5-72HPH-525M through LR5-72HPH-575M in 5 W steps
  • LR5-72HBD-500M, -505M, -510M, -515M, -520M, -525M, -530M, -535M, -540M, -555M, -560M and -565M

That certification boundary is broader than the three technical schedules above. An MCS-listed wattage outside those schedules needs its own matching datasheet before dimensions, efficiency or warranty values are applied.

Availability

Hi-MO 5 remains on LONGi’s product site and exact module records were current in MCS on 31 July 2026. Neither establishes stock at a particular UK supplier.
