Maxeon Performance 7 is a shingled n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact solar-panel family. The residential Black range covers 440 W to 455 W in a bifacial glass-glass format.

Performance 7 is Maxeon’s shingled n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) panel generation. The residential Black datasheet covers several front-side ratings with standard and -1500 suffixes.
Construction and rated output
Each module uses one-third-cut n-type TOPCon cell strips arranged in a shingled layout. The front and rear are both glass, and the cells can collect light from the back of the panel as well as the front.
The structured power rating is measured from the front under standard test conditions. Rear-side contribution is additional and depends on the mounting height, tilt and reflectance below the module. It should not be added as a fixed percentage to every roof forecast.
The residential wattages share one module area. Efficiency therefore increases across the range as the front-side rating rises. Commercial and utility Performance 7 products are separate formats, so their ratings and dimensions do not belong to this residential record.
Warranty and exact UK codes
The UK terms list the residential SPR-P7-xxx-BLK and -1500 patterns. Digital registration within the stated window is a condition of the longer product and power cover. Without registration, the duration and end-of-term power percentage change.
At 23 July 2026, the MCS Product Directory carried separate records for the standard DC modules, E10 AC modules and -1500 forms. Some newer -1500 entries named TCL PV Tech (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, while earlier records named Maxeon Solar Technologies Ltd.
Those records are not interchangeable. The suffix identifies the electrical form and the MCS entry identifies the named manufacturer, dimensions and certification period for that form.
