The current UK name is M Thermal R290 Air Source Heat Pump. Midea’s global product material also uses R290 M Thermal Arctic HT for the same product family, so the full MHC code is more specific than either name.
Labelled capacity and test-point output
The seven capacity labels are not identical to the output row in Midea’s current UK sheet. That row measures output with outdoor air at -2°C and water at 50°C, and each result is tied to its full MHC code. A design record should preserve the test point rather than reducing the product to the number in its label.
The manufacturer codes are MHC-V4WD2N7, MHC-V6WD2N7, MHC-V8WD2N7, MHC-V10WD2N7, MHC-V12WD2N7, MHC-V14WD2N7 and MHC-V16WD2N7. Three-phase forms are MHC-V12WD2RN7, MHC-V14WD2RN7 and MHC-V16WD2RN7.
Midea’s 2026 UK sheet inserts a slash in these codes and prints the 10 kW form as MHC-V10W/DN7. Midea’s global page and current certification records use MHC-V10WD2N7. The model label should therefore be preserved exactly rather than normalised from either document.
Seasonal data and temperature limits
Midea’s UK sheet publishes SCOP (seasonal coefficient of performance) values at 35°C and 50°C. The Product Directory publishes separate code-level values at 35°C and 55°C, with overlapping certificate generations for several codes. These datasets use different application temperatures and do not collapse into one family number.
Temperature wording also differs by source. UK material headlines hot water up to 75°C and continuous hot-water production at -20°C outdoors. Midea’s global Arctic HT page gives a 5°C to 75°C general water-outlet range, a 20°C to 70°C domestic-hot-water range and a -25°C to 46°C ambient range. The figures describe different conditions and should not be combined into a single operating range.
Sound pressure is published at 1 m in front of the unit and changes by capacity. That measurement is distinct from sound power and from the site-specific noise assessment used for an installation.
Current records and warranty
The UK product page and 2026 specification sheet listed this R290 family at 23 July 2026. Exact single-phase and three-phase family rows were also current in the Product Directory.
Warranty extension depends on registration and recorded annual maintenance. The standard route can extend annually up to five years. The ten-year route is an installer maintenance agreement that requires the original Mi Pro installer to register each annual service.
