EI Link (EU) is the central wiring and communications unit for Tigo Energy’s European EI solar and battery system. It is used with the EI Inverter (EU) and GO Battery (EU), bringing system connections, energy metering and communications into one enclosure.

Single-phase and three-phase versions

EI Link has separate single-phase and three-phase variants. Maximum grid current is 60 A for single-phase and 63 A for three-phase. The single-phase TSS-1PS measures 482 × 437 × 184.5 mm, while the three-phase TSS-3PS is larger at 500 × 512 × 204.5 mm. Both are rated IP54 and their operating temperature range is -35°C to 60°C.

EI Link provides terminals and interfaces for the grid, inverter, backed-up loads and Tigo system communications. It is part of the complete equipment schedule rather than a generic consumer unit or stand-alone automatic transfer switch.

Design boundary

The 60 A or 63 A figure is an equipment rating, not a statement that every property supply can carry that current or that no separate protection is required. Supply characteristics, service-head rating, protective devices, cable sizes, earthing and backup circuit selection remain installation-design matters.

The enclosure’s IP54 rating also does not make every location suitable. Clearances, ambient conditions and the current installation manual continue to apply.

Tigo’s residential limited warranty effective for qualifying purchases after 15 March 2026 lists EI Link at 60 months. The same document imposes registration and other conditions across the system. Warranty evidence should be retained with the commissioning and handover records.
