GO Junction is Tigo Energy’s interface between the European GO Optimized system and a compatible heat pump. It allows the Tigo system to use a dry-contact connection to request heat-pump operation, bringing heating into the same energy-management environment as solar, storage and EV charging.

Interfaces and ratings

GO Junction has one heat-pump dry-contact interface with a maximum switching rating of 5 A at 277 V AC and two RS485 ports for Tigo system communications. The enclosure measures 125 × 125 × 75 mm, weighs 0.4 kg and is rated IP65. Its operating temperature range is -30°C to 60°C.

The dry contact is a control signal rather than the heat pump’s main electrical supply. The heat pump still requires its own correctly designed power circuit, protection, controls and commissioning. Compatibility also depends on the heat-pump manufacturer’s permitted external-control method. A dry-contact input should not be assumed merely because a unit can be scheduled from its own controller.

System context

GO Junction forms part of the Tigo GO Optimized arrangement and is not presented as a general-purpose smart relay. The system design should identify the EI inverter, Link, energy meter, supported heat pump and intended control logic. It should also preserve the heat pump’s weather compensation, hot-water priorities, frost protection and other manufacturer functions.

GO Junction has a 60-month residential warranty, subject to registration and the other conditions. Its electrical and environmental ratings do not replace the current installation instructions or supported-equipment information for the complete system.
