CS7001iAW is the technical name used within Worcester Bosch’s current Compress 7001i AW family. It is an R410A monobloc system with several outdoor capacities and compatible indoor units.

Capacity and phase

The 5, 7, 9 and 13 kW outdoor units are single-phase. The 17 kW OR-T model is three-phase. A phase suffix is therefore part of the equipment identity, not just an installation detail.

Worcester Bosch publishes a 62°C maximum flow temperature and a heating outdoor-air range from -20°C to 35°C. These are operating boundaries rather than a statement that named output is available at every point inside the envelope.

The five models use R410A charges from 1.7 to 4.0 kg. Their sound-power values also differ, from 47 to 55 dB(A), so an acoustic assessment needs the exact capacity.

Seasonal and system records

All five capacities had current MCS records through 31 July 2027 at the review date. The records pair each outdoor unit with the applicable AWE indoor unit and publish different 35°C and 55°C seasonal values.

The indoor equipment can provide hydraulic control and backup heating. A complete design therefore identifies the outdoor suffix, indoor unit, cylinder or hot-water arrangement and control rather than using CS7001iAW alone.

Current status and guarantee

Compress 7001i AW appeared in both current consumer and professional directories on 23 July 2026. The professional page gives a two-year standard guarantee and a seven-year route where the manufacturer-provided third-party MCS umbrella scheme applies. The current guarantee terms require correct installation and annual servicing, among other conditions.
