AC isolator placement

AC isolator placement describes where the AC isolator for an inverter circuit is positioned so the inverter can be disconnected from the grid-side AC supply.

AC isolator placement is the documented location of the AC isolation switch or circuit breaker for a PV, battery or hybrid inverter circuit, usually on the grid side of the inverter and before the consumer unit or distribution board connection shown in the installation diagram.
