Air-to-air heat pumps
Air-to-air heat pumps move heat between outdoor air and room air, using indoor fan units for heating and, where the equipment is reversible, cooling.
Air-to-air heat pumps move heat between outside air and room air through one or more indoor fan units. Fixed reversible equipment can heat or cool. Conventional configurations normally require separate domestic hot water provision, although some compatible multi-split platforms can connect a hot-water tank.
