Battery calibration
Battery calibration is a manufacturer-supported process that helps a home battery system align its reported state of charge with the BMS's estimate of the energy stored.
Battery calibration means a charge or charge-and-discharge process used to help a BMS align its state-of-charge (SoC) reading with the battery's actual charge level. It is separate from usable capacity, state of health, battery balancing, firmware updates, warranty registration, MCS certification, DNO approval, export settings and electrical safety checks.
