Battery expansion module
A battery expansion module is an additional battery unit fitted to a compatible home battery system to increase the system's usable storage capacity.
A battery expansion module is an extra battery unit, stackable battery module or manufacturer-specific expansion battery added to a compatible home battery system to increase stored energy capacity. It is separate from the inverter, a BMS, backup output power, export capacity, DNO approval, MCS certification, supplier export-tariff acceptance and proof that any battery can be enlarged later.
