CAN bus
Also known as CAN, Controller Area Network
A CAN (Controller Area Network) bus is a wired communications link that lets compatible controllers, batteries, inverters and monitoring devices exchange data.
A CAN (Controller Area Network) bus is a shared data link used by electronic controllers to exchange short messages over the same wired network. In home energy systems, it can appear in battery-to-inverter, BMS, monitoring gateway or charger documentation where compatible equipment needs to share operating data such as limits, status or alarms. Compatibility and configuration remain specific to the connected products.
