Charge schedule

A charge schedule is a planned set of charging times, windows or conditions in an app, charger, battery inverter, vehicle or energy-management controller. It can define start and end times, days, a charge-by or departure time, a target state of charge, a price cap, an off-peak period or another rule that decides when charging should run. In home energy systems it may appear in battery apps, EV charger schedules, vehicle charging screens, tariff-linked smart-charging settings, solar-surplus charging modes, firmware notes and fault logs. A charge schedule does not by itself confirm that the battery or vehicle will be full, that the cheapest tariff period has been used, that solar surplus will be available, that the charger can ignore vehicle timers or product limits, or that any export, DNO, warranty or backup requirement has been satisfied.
