Charger cable routes and parking means the practical layout between an EV chargepoint, its charging lead, the vehicle charge port and the parking position or bay it is expected to serve. The term covers where the wall unit or pedestal is placed, how a tethered or separate cable reaches the car, whether the cable crosses a path, shared area or public pavement and whether a later vehicle or changed parking habit could leave the cable too short or unsafe. It is a layout and usability issue, not proof of electrical design, grant eligibility, local highway permission, smart-tariff compatibility, charger commissioning or permission to trail a cable across land the householder does not control.
