A cloud API (application programming interface) is an internet-hosted software interface that lets authorised apps, portals or services exchange data with a manufacturer's or service provider's energy platform. In home energy systems it may be used around inverter monitoring, battery schedules, EV charging data, heat pump portals, tariffs or third-party integrations.
