Commissioning form

A commissioning form is a site-specific record used to capture the checks, test results or settings recorded when a home energy installation is put into working order.

A commissioning form is a site-specific document, template or digital record used to capture the checks, test results or settings recorded when a home energy installation is put into working order. It may sit inside a commissioning pack or handover pack rather than appear as one standalone national form. MCS contractor requirements describe commissioning as moving an installation to full working order and recording relevant measurements, flow rates or test results, including any commissioning report or certificate required by the relevant technology standard. In solar PV paperwork, commissioning templates can include verification certificates and PV array test reports. DNO, G98 (Engineering Recommendation G98) or G99 (Engineering Recommendation G99) paperwork may sit beside the commissioning form, but the form is not a DNO approval, MCS certificate, electrical certificate, warranty approval, export registration or permission to alter equipment.
