Communication fault
A communication fault is an error or status message showing that one part of a home energy system has stopped exchanging the expected data with another device, controller or online service.
A communication fault is an error or status message showing that one device, controller, meter, sensor, app gateway or online service has stopped exchanging the data another part of the system expects. In home energy systems it can appear on inverter displays, battery apps, EV charger apps, commissioning portals, heat pump controllers and monitoring platforms. The affected link may be a BMS cable, meter or CT-clamp connection, charger or inverter network link, heat pump control bus, wireless gateway or cloud connection.
