Connection offer

A connection offer is a written offer, firm quote or set of connection terms from a network operator or DNO for making or changing an electricity connection. In home-energy paperwork, it can appear after a connection application for a new supply, altered supply, solar PV system, battery, EV chargepoint, heat pump or export arrangement. It should be read with the named property, equipment, import capacity, export capacity, cost, validity period and any technical conditions. It is not a budget estimate, supplier energy tariff, DNO notification, MCS certificate, export MPAN registration, planning consent, building regulations certificate or product warranty.
