Consumer contract

A consumer contract is the legal agreement between a trader and a consumer for goods or services, including the contract behind a home-energy quote, order or installation.

A consumer contract is a contract between a trader and a consumer. In home-energy paperwork, it is the legal agreement behind a solar, battery, EV chargepoint or heat-pump quote, order or installation, setting out what is being supplied, the price, payment terms, cancellation terms and responsibilities.
