Cooling capacity

Also known as cooling output

Cooling capacity is the rate at which AC removes heat from a space, normally stated in kW.

Cooling capacity is thermal output in cooling mode, normally expressed in kW. It is separate from the unit's electrical input and the room's calculated cooling load. Product data can give nominal, minimum and maximum capacity at stated test conditions.
