Cylinder coil
A cylinder coil is the heat-transfer coil or internal heat exchanger in an indirect hot water cylinder.
A cylinder coil is the heat-transfer coil or internal heat exchanger in an indirect hot water cylinder. Primary water or heat-transfer fluid from a heat source flows through the coil and transfers heat into stored domestic hot water without mixing with it. In heat pump documents, the coil's surface area, primary flow rate, pressure drop and reheat performance matter because lower flow temperatures need suitable heat transfer.
