Domestic hot water

Domestic hot water is the hot water supplied to taps, showers, baths and similar sanitary outlets for washing and other household sanitary use. In heat pump documents it is often shortened to DHW and kept separate from the heated water circulating through the space-heating or cylinder primary circuits. It is not the same as space heating, a hot-water cylinder, an immersion heater, stored-water temperature, heat pump capacity or proof that every household hot water pattern is covered.
