EV chargepoint commissioning

EV chargepoint commissioning is the final site setup, inspection, testing and recording step before a home or workplace chargepoint is handed over for use. It can include BS 7671 (the British Standard wiring regulations for electrical installations) electrical test evidence, charger start-up checks, smart-chargepoint settings, load-management sensor checks, app or network setup and DNO notification or approval evidence where the installation path requires it. It is not the same as DNO approval, Building Regulations sign-off, grant eligibility, smart-tariff compatibility, product warranty cover or proof that every later charger setting or vehicle will work.
