EV charger throttling

EV charger throttling is a visible slowdown, reduction or pause in an EV charging session when the chargepoint, vehicle or connected control system lowers the current or power available to the car. In a home it commonly happens when dynamic load balancing or an import/load-limiting device keeps the property below a supply or DNO limit, or when smart charging changes the rate or timing through a signal. The active limit and control state identify why the charging rate has changed.
