F-gas
F-gas is shorthand for fluorinated greenhouse gas, a group of gases that includes HFC refrigerants used in some heat pumps and air-conditioning systems.
F-gas is shorthand for fluorinated greenhouse gas. In home energy paperwork it most often refers to HFC refrigerants used in some heat pumps or air-conditioning systems, where rules can apply to handling, leak checking, recovery, record keeping and qualified work.
