Frost protection is the design, control or installation measure used to reduce the risk of water, condensate drains, pipework or outdoor equipment freezing in cold conditions.

Frost protection is the design, control or installation measure used to reduce the risk of water, condensate drains, pipework or outdoor equipment freezing in cold conditions. In home energy work, it most often appears around heat pumps, ground loops, condensate discharge, outdoor batteries, EV chargers, PV site details and other outdoor equipment or cable routes.
