Grid charge permission

Grid charge permission is an app, inverter or controller setting that allows a battery system to charge from imported grid electricity. It is a permission inside the product controls, not a DNO connection approval, export permission or tariff registration. On some systems the same idea appears as `Enable charging from the grid`, `Charge from grid->Allow` or a `Grid Charge` tick-box in a time-of-use schedule. If it is disabled, a scheduled charge may still exist but the battery may be limited to solar, wind or other on-site generation. If it is enabled, the battery can normally use grid import during allowed charge windows, subject to tariff details, charge limits, state-of-charge targets and manufacturer controls.
