Half-hourly data is smart-meter or meter-settlement data split into 30-minute periods, usually used to match import or export readings with smart tariff prices and billing periods.

Half-hourly data is smart-meter or meter-settlement data broken into 30-minute periods, usually showing electricity import, export or consumption for each interval. In home-energy documents it appears in supplier accounts, smart-tariff billing, time-of-use tariff terms, export tariff requirements and meter-data support notes. It can help match energy use or export to prices in each half hour, but it is not itself a tariff, unit rate, bill total, export MPAN, SEG acceptance, DNO approval, meter-accuracy verdict or proof that a battery, EV charger or heat pump is optimised.
