Handover pack

A handover pack is the set of documents, instructions and evidence supplied to the customer when a home energy installation is completed and handed over. MCS consumer and Customer Commitment material uses the term for a pack that includes product details, key parts, health and safety guidance, operating instructions, maintenance information, manufacturer instructions and relevant guarantees or warranties. It sits alongside formal documents such as the MCS certificate, building regulations compliance certificate and proof of DNO notification or approval where those are needed.
