Looped electricity supplies

Also known as Looped supply, Looped service, Looped connection, Shared service cable

Looped electricity supplies are shared incoming service-cable arrangements where two or more properties take electricity through the same connection from the local network.

Looped electricity supplies are shared incoming electricity-service arrangements where two or more properties take supply through a single service cable from the local distribution network. They are often older terraced or semi-detached connections and may be described as a looped service or looped connection.
