A maintenance schedule is a written list of recommended checks, servicing tasks and intervals for an installed home energy system.

A maintenance schedule is a written timetable or list of routine checks, servicing tasks and intervals for an installed product or system. In home energy paperwork it may appear in a handover pack, user manual, warranty document or support record for solar panels, battery storage, an EV chargepoint or a heat pump. MCS Customer Commitment material names a recommended servicing and maintenance schedule as a minimum handover-pack item. The schedule is not a service record, installation manual, MCS certificate, DNO approval or proof that warranty conditions have been met.
